Dough

  • 300 g Self Raising Flour
  • 90 g Butter
  • 150 g Milk

Filling

  • raspberry jam
  • Shredded coconut
  • cinnamon

Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Pre heat oven to 200C.

     

    Place flour and butter into mixing bowl and mix 5 sec/speed 5 until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.


    Add milk and knead for 60 secs until a soft dough is formed.


    Turn out dough onto a piece of baking paper and roll out dough into a 25cm x 40cm rectangle.


    Spread liberally with jam and sprinkle over cinammon, coconut and sultanas.


    Roll up dough from the long side and using a sharp knife, cut roll into 3cm slices.

     

     

    Place slices on prepared a lined baking tray and bake for 12 mins or until golden brown.

    quick and easy. Mixed view from the kids. I doubled the batch and needed slightly more than double with the milk. I think i used too much jam as they spilled over and went toffee like which is what the kids didnt like. Good recipe though will make again
