      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees.

Mill sugar in bowl for 10 seconds, speed 9.

Add butter and pumpkin, mix for 10 seconds on speed 6.

Add egg and milk. Mix for 10 seconds on speed 8.

Add flour and place on dough setting for 2 minutes.

Dough should be very moist and sticky. Turn out onto a well floured board. Roll until an inch thick. Cut out scones and place on oven tray. Brush with milk and egg mix for a lovely finish.

Cook for 10-15 minutes or until brown on top.

Allow to cool and serve with favourite condiments.
