For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 and line a slice tin/tray with baking paper
- Place all ingedient into the mixing bowl and mix 20 seconds, speed 4
- scrape down bowl then pour mix into prepared tray.
- decorate top of your slice with fruit then bake for 20 mins or until slighly golden ontop.
- slightly cool before cutting into portions and serve warm.

This slice tastes like a scone so i like to serve it with jam and cream.
