      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Grease and line a round cake tin
    Set oven to 160 degree's celcius

    Mill raw sugar for 5 second, speed 10

    Add the butter, bananas, milk, eggs, salt and bi carb and mix for 2 minutes, speed 5.

    Scrape down bowl and add the self raising flour and mix for 30 seconds, speed 4.

Tip

Cream cheese frosting is great on this cake.

1/4 cup melted butter
125g philly cheese
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
250g icing sugar
