      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Just about to make my second cake, the first one turned out perfectly a few weeks ago. I served it warm with some hot custard, my guests loved it - great winter comfort food! Recipe very easy to follow - thanks Smile

A great cake thank you! I hadn't tried steamed a whole cake before and this has a great taste and worked so well. Have been trying to extend my Varoma cooking range and this is a very good addition. Looking forward to making it again very soon.
