      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Combine the butter, sugar, eggs in the thermomix bowl on speed 4.Counter-clockwise operationClosed lid.
  2. Slowly add the flour until combined Speed 4 Closed lidCounter-clockwise operation.
  3. Bring together on a chopping board or work bench and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  4. roll out into desired tart case, cook in an oven at 160°C for 20 minutes.

Tip

Use an egg yolk to seal the pastry stopping the base from becoming soggy .

    This recipe is 👏 awesome ,quick , easy , went down a treat when I made the apple 🍎 pie definitely a stayer this one 👏 I used wholemeal flour just for some added crunch
