Sweet Yeast Bread Rings

  • 1 piece Lemon peel, zest only
  • 500 grams plain flour
  • 2 tsp dried instant yeast
  • 100 grams Butter, cut into cubes
  • 145 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoons Aniseed Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 250 grams water
  • 250 grams sesame seeds

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Add lemon zest, Aniseed and cloves. 20 seconds speed 9
  2. Add flour, sugar, butter and yeast. 5 seconds speed 8
  3. Knead for 10 minutes adding the water through the lid.
  4. Place in a warm area to prove till dough doubles in size aprox 1-2 hours.
  5. Line a baking tray.
  6. Shape dough into rings. Brush them with some milk and coate with sesame seeds. Cover and prove again until rings double in size.
  7. Bake 230 degrees for aprox 20 minutes or until golden brown
