- 130 grams unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 180 grams plain flour
- 80 grams Coconut
- 100 rolled oats
- 115 grams caster sugar

Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Line a baking tray with baking paper or Thermomat. Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan forced).
Place butter into bowl with golden syrup and melt 3min/70C/sp2. Add water and bocarb and heat 30sec/70C/sp2.
Add flour, coconut, rolled oats and sugar and mix 3sec//sp3
Spoon tablespoon sized portions onto Thermomat, forming small balls. Flatten slightly with your fingers.
Bake for 15mins until golden. Cool on trays (they will crisp up once cool). Store in an airtight container.
