Bowl Clean

  • 1 lemon, washed, cut into small pieces and de-seeded
  • 3 drops of dishwashing liquid
  • 40 g coarse salt
  • 200 g water

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add cut up lemon and dishwashing liquid to bowl.
  2. Add salt.
  3. Add water.
  4. Process 4 min/75 degrees/speed 4.
  5. Leaving MC in, blend 1 min/speed 10.
  6. Discard contents, rinse and dry bowl and lid.
