  • 1 stick Celery
  • 1/4 piece white onion
  • 1 can Chickpeas (rinsed) 400g
  • 50 g mayonaise
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method.
  1. 1. Cut carrot and celery into 3cm chunks.

     

    2. Place carrots, celery and onion into bowl Closed lid and chop

    2 sec/speed 4. Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula.

     

    3. Add rinsed chickpeas to bowl Closed lid and chop

    2 sec/speed 4. You want it to be a little bit chunky. 

     

    4. Place mayonaise, apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper into bowl Closed lid and combine

    7secs/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 2.

     

    5. Divide chickpea filling between 6 slices of bread or wraps add your favorite fillings like lettuce, tomaote or cucumber and enjoy.

  3. 1. I like to add chopped avocado into the chickpea mix rolled up into a wrap with lettuce and tomatoe.

     

    2. My kid also love this as a dip served with crakers and celery sticks.  

     

    3. You can also make this vegan by adding a vegan mayo.
