  • 50 grams coconut oil
  • 90 grams Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 level teaspoons vanilla extract or paste
  • 20 grams nut butter (pre make)
  • 120 grams ripe bananas cut into pieces
  • 300 grams rolled oats
  • 180 grams Shredded coconut
  • 1 level teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinches salt
  • 60 grams mixed nuts (almond, bazil, macadamia)
  • 60 grams mixed seeds (pepitas, sunflower, chia sesame)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Granola Banana Oat Clusters
  1. Preheat oven to 150deg c. Set aside a 30 x 40cm lined baking tray.
    Place nuts in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5.
    Repeat until nuts are reduced to 1/4 size.
  2. Place oil in mixing bowl and melt 2 mins/60deg/speed 2.
  3. Add maple syrup, vanilla, nut butter, and bananas then chop 20sec/speed5.
  4. Add all remaining ingredients and combine 8 sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 3.
    Spread evenly over baking tray.
  5. Bake for 20 mins, then stir/turn over and bake for a further 20 minutes or until golden and crisp.
    Turn oven off and leave oat clusters in the oven with the door held ajar with a wooden spoon to cool. Once cooled, transfer to an airtight container. Oat clusters will keep for up to 1 month in the pantry.
