The best healthy banana pancakes
- 3 medium bananas, Ripe
- 360 g Milk of choice
- 20 g apple cider vinegar
- 230 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 3 level teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 level teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 level teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- Oil for cooking

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Place all ingredients into mixing bowl and mix 20sec on speed 5.
2. In lightly oiled fry pan over low-med heat, pour in desired amount of mixture. Cool for approx 2-3min or until multiple bubbles form, then flip. Cook for a further 2 min or until goldern and cooked through.
3. Transfer cooked pancakes to plate. Repeat with remaining mixture until all are cooked.
Optional: serve immediately with honey and sliced banana.
