      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Roughly chop almonds and mixed nuts - speed 5, 20 secs, and place aside 

  2. Melt coconut oil and honey - speed 3, 90 degrees, 2 minutes 

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients including chopped nuts and mix on speed 5, 20 secs 

  4. Place on flat baking tray lined with baking paper and place in 150 degree oven (no fan) for 30 minutes - make sure to turn the mixture over every 10 minutes 

  5. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container for up to 10 days

    Great recipe. Thanks. I used cashews and sunflower seeds with the almonds and slipped a bit with the honey - but it worked out perfectly. And it is delicious!!

    Great snack as well as for topping our chia puddings and yoghurt!
