      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Garlic Jar
  1. Fresh garlic cloves, as many as you like. I normally use about 4 whole bulbs.

Tip

once you have minced the garlic, scrape the sides of the bowl and mince again for 3 seconds, speed 7.

Place in a jar, cover with vegetable oil and refridgerate. Use as needed. I also do the same with fresh ginger.

I just freeze in a sandwich bag spread out flat and break off a piece as I need. Then can last as long as you want without salt or preservatives.

  • I would like to know,

I would like to know, roughly, how long this would keep in the fridge before I give it a go. So I know how many bulbs to do.
