- Add flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast to the Thermomix mixing bowl. Mix for 5 seconds/Speed 4 to combine.
Add milk to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 seconds/Speed 4/ 37 degrees.
Knead the dough for 2 minutes/Kneading function (Dough mode). The dough will be soft and sticky. - First Proof:
Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl (you can use the cleaned Thermomix bowl if you prefer, or another large bowl).
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and then a clean kitchen towel.
Place in a warm spot to proof until doubled in size, which should take 45-60 minutes, depending on your kitchen's temperature. - Prepare for Frying:
Once the dough has doubled, transfer it onto a well-floured worktop.
Divide the dough into 4 equally sized pieces. Gently form each piece into a ball.
Using a rolling pin, roll out each dough ball into a round flatbread, approximately ¼-inch (0.5 cm) thick and about 7-inch (17 cm) in diameter. - Fry the Langos:
In a heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven, heat the frying oil over medium-high heat until hot (around 170-180°C). To test if the oil is hot enough, you can drop a tiny piece of dough into it; if it sizzles and floats to the top, it's ready.
Carefully place one rolled flatbread into the hot oil. Fry for about 1 minute until golden brown, then use kitchen tongs to flip it over and fry for another minute until golden. Some pale spots are fine.
Remove the fried Langos and place it on a few sheets of paper kitchen towel to absorb any excess oil. Repeat with the remaining dough pieces. - Add Toppings and Serve:
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and crushed garlic. Spread this mixture over each warm fried Langos.
Top with sour cream and shredded cheese.

Garlic: For an extra flavour boost, you can use melted garlic butter instead of the olive oil and crushed garlic mixture.
