I made this recipe for the first time last night. I probably didn't let the mixture sit long enough, so I didn't really think they were that great. But then I put the leftover mixture in the fridge over night and cooked in my pie maker today instead of oil in fry pan and OMG. They are so light and fluffy. Will definitely make in the pie maker again.

SO yummy!! Next time I'll dust with cinnamon and castor sugar. Reminds me of a donut!!! Am hoping they freeze & defrost ok, as they made a lot and not sure how fresh they will stay after a day or two.

  • Could you subsitute the grape

    Submitted by Letitia78 on 15. May 2014 - 13:59.

Could you subsitute the grape seed oil for a different oil? Or would the flavour change too much?
