- 1/2 level teaspoons vanilla extract

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- EGG SUBSTITUTE
Mix together 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 1/2 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon baking powder stir until all combined and add to recipe in place of egg.
1. Place apples in bowl and chop 5 seconds speed 7.
2. Scrape down sides
3. Add flour, sugar, milk, vanilla, baking powder and egg (or substitute) 20 seconds speed 6 or until no lumps appear
4. Add melted butter and combine 15 seconds speed 6
5. Pour to the size you would like into frying pan and wait till bubbles appear then flip sides
pikelets can be frozen for lunch box snacks
