  • I have been looking at cacao

    Submitted by Trudlikemud on 14. August 2014 - 19:25.

I have been looking at cacao balls for a while and haven't been successful - until I found this recipe. I replaced the pumpkin seeds with Brazil nuts and almond and added Rice Malt syrup instead of honey - delicious! Even fooled the kids as they think they're chocolate balls....

    Submitted by diabel on 28. July 2014 - 15:08.

I didn't put the full amount of honey because of comments from others. However I found that the cocoa was a little strong. Next time I'll use the whole amount of honey.

Love it, added coconut as I didn't have coconut oil. Also didn't add honey and it was sweet enough.
