Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Fudge Slice

  • 100 g Butter, softened
  • 180 g plain flour
  • 50 g chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 50 g brown sugar

Chocolate Fudge Layer

  • 240 g Butter, softened
  • 160 g water
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 200 g full cream milk powder
  • 170 g chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 50 g golden syrup

Chocolate topping

  • 130 g chocolate
  • 1-2 tbsp plain tasting oil, eg. light olive oil, grape seed oil

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Prepare a 28x18.5cm (approx.) slice tin by lining with baking paper.

    Add chocolate to Closed lid. Chop 5 sec, speed 5. Scrape down sides.

    Next add butter and melt 2 min, temp 80, sp 1.

    Add flour and mix 10 sec, speed 3 or until combined. Press mixture evenly into prepared pan and bake 10mins.

    Remove from oven and prepare fudge layer.

  3. Add chocolate to bowl and chop 5 sec, sp 7. Scrape sides of bowl.

    Next add all other fudge ingredients and cook 25 mins, temp 90°C, speed 3.

    Pour onto base and bake in oven 15 mins.

    Allow to cool and then prepare topping.

  5. Start with a clean dry Closed lid.

    Place chocolate into Closed lid and chop 5 sec, speed 5. Scrape sides of bowl.

    Add oil and melt 2 min, temp 80°C, speed 1.

    Pour on top of cooled slice and refrigerate until set.

    Slice, serve and enjoy!
