  • 200 g cherries, fresh or frozen, sliced in chunks
  • 75 g sugar
  • 2 tablespoons alcohol or lemon juice, rum, brandy, amaretto or your own mix

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sugar in thermomix. Mix on 10 for 10 seconds.
  2. Place all ingredients in thermomix bowl.
  3. Cook 6-8 minutes on 90 degrees speed 2. I do this in reverse to keep the shape of the cherries.
  4. Cool down and place in a clean jar.

Tip

I do the cooking in reverse, but if you want a thicker sauce, use the normal cycle.
