Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

We made these using Marie biscuits and cocoa! Awesome!!
The supermarket was out of
The supermarket was out of digestive biscuits and used the Marie biscuits as suggested and it turned out really well.
I made 2 batches, pretty much one after the other. I got caught up doing something else in the middle of rolling the balls in the coconut with the first batch. When i went back to it, I found it was harder for the coconut to stick.
When I did the 2nd batch, after the mix had cooled a little, I rolled them straight away and didn't leave the balls too long before coating in the coconut and it was much easier. My husband thought they were yummy but was disappointed that he only got a couple. The whole batch is destined for Christmas presents.
This recipe is really good...
