- 11 large meedjol dates, deseeded (organic if possible)
- 1 pinch fine Himalayan salt
- 3-4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 3-4 tablespoons dessicated coconut
- 5-10 grams filtered water
- 1 teaspoon flavouring, vanilla extract, orange, mint, espresso, rum

Recipe's preparation
Add all ingredients, except the water, into bowl, process 6 sec/speed 6.
Mixture should still be a little crumbly. Keep the lid on and with blades on speed 3-4 add water slowly through the top until mixture comes together like cookie dough. If you accidently add too much water just add a little more coconut.
With damp hands take a teaspoon amount and roll into a ball, then roll in coating of your choice.

Tip
I often make these with vanilla as the flavouring and then combine some orange zest and crushed nuts (peanuts, hazelnuts etc) as the coating. You can play around with the flavour combinations to find your favourite.
Definitely use Medjool dates as dried dates will be too dry and the balls won't hold together
