Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding

Ingredients

6 portion(s)

Choc Batter

  • 160 g SR flour
  • 120 g raw sugar
  • 60 g Butter, room temp
  • 25 g cocoa
  • 130 g Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste, (or essence)

Sauce topping

  • 430 g Hot / boiled water
  • 100 g brown sugar, (or raw sugar)
  • 25 g cocoa

Recipe's preparation

    Prepare Batter
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced

    Place all ingredients in jug Mix 10 sec sp 6 Spoon into greased heatproof dish No need to clean jug before preparing sauce topping

  2. Prepare Sauce topping
  3. Place all sauce topping ingredients into jug Mix 10 sec Sp 3Pour over prepared batter, bake in oven 180 degrees fan forced 35 minutes.

    Serve with cream or ice-cream

Tip

For microwave recipe use 300 g  hot water in sauce topping  not 430g Microwave 7-8 minutes high

    I followed the recipe exactly but found the cake portion was very heavy. My hubby absolutley loved it though!!
