Ingredients

12 piece(s)

Pancake Batter

  • 30 grams Butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 grams Milk
  • 220 grams Self Raising Flour

Recipe's preparation

  1. Melt butter 2 mins / 80 deg / sp 2

  2. Add remaining ingredients and combine sp 4 / 10 - 30 secs (until smooth)

  3. Cook in a fry pan over low-medium heat with a small dobb of butter. Fiip when bubbles appear

  4. Serve as they cook or why not keep them hot in your thermoserver so the whole family can enjoy together!

Tip

These pancakes are even better when made using buttermilk

Recipe can easily be doubled for larger families (I always double - we are a family of 6)

 Recipe can also be halved for smaller Families / Couples

    Lovely pancakes! I was going to make the version with sugar and more butter but I'm glad I didn't. Even though there wasn't any added sugar in these they still tasted sweet, creamy and fluffy. My husband doesn't normally partake in pancakes but he liked these.

    I made half quantity (about 3 side-plate-sized pancakes) but I added a little extra buttermilk because I found the mixture a bit stiff after combining as per the recipe. Used home made butter and home made buttermilk!
