      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add sugar to jug mix on speed 9 30 sec
    2. Add water to jug
    3. Weigh gelatine into a separate bowl and set aside
    4. Place lid on and mix speed 3 30 sec add gelatine powder while blades are turning to Avoid lumps
    5. Add butterfly and mix 20 minutes speed 4 mc off
    6. Add flavour and colour if you choose
    7. Grease tins/moulds or tray and fill
    8. Place in fridge to set overnight works best
    9. Remove from moulds and roll in coconut
    10. Enjoy

I add food colouring and a bit of vanilla to the mix

    This did not work AT ALL for me. Didn’t set or look creamy in colour and keeps separating, each time I’ve tried this receipt.
