  • 150 grams self-raising flour
  • 15 grams cocoa powder, 70% cocoa

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. 1.Closed lidmelt butter 2 mins 60C spd 1
    2 add milk and egg, Blend15 secs spd 4 scrape down bowl.
    3. Add flour, sugar and cocoa, Blend20 sec spd 4. Scrape down bowl.
    4. Add chocolate pieces and mix with spatula.
    5. Add base to a a large casserole dish.

  3. 1. Combine cocoa and sugar, Blend 10 sec spd 4.
    2. Cover base and pat firmly to ensure all the base is covered evenly.
    3. Pour 2 cups boiling water carefully over a large spoon onto base.
    4. put into oven immediately for 40 minutes 180C.

Tip

You can make the base and topping in advance. Pour over the boiling water just as you are ready to put the dish into the oven.
You can use less brown sugar, about 200g, but ensure there is enough to firmly cover the base.
