Easy Vegan Chocolate Mousse

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add the aquafaba to the bowl. Insert butterfly whisk, insert measuring cup. Spd 4, 4 Minutes. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in microwave (careful not to burn).
  2. Gently scrape down sides. Add icing sugar, insert measuring cup. Spd 4, 4 seconds.
  3. Remove the butterfly whisk. Gradually add the melted chocolate while gently folding through with spatular.
  4. Insert butterfly whisk, insert measuring cup. Spd 4, 4 seconds.
  5. Carefully spoon into serving bowl/glass. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

For a rich mousse, use dark chocolate. You can use up to 30g more chocolate if you wish.
