  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup soft pitted dates
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder or carob
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 4 tablespoons orange juice, only if necessary

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put all ingredients in the thermomix bowl and grind up on speed 9 for 40    seconds, or until well ground and mixed. If the mix is a little dry, add a touch of water or orange juice (2 – 4 tablespoons) then process again.  

    The balls should come together when pressed.                                                       Roll into small balls and keep refrigerated.

    Can also be rolled in desiccated coconut if preferred
