Delicious! I love pecans so this was a winner for me. I didn't have any individual cupcake moulds and the ramekins I had were too big for the veroma dish/tray, so I cooked the puddings in the oven. I divided the mixture amongst six ramekins and cooked them in a water bath for 30 minutes at 160 degrees celcius, fan-forced. They were a good size, however, you could easily use 8 ramekins to make the puddings a little smaller.

  • I didn't have any pecan so

    Submitted by palems on 28. May 2016 - 10:27.

I didn't have any pecan so used walnuts, I used slightly bigger moulds (150ml foil containers) so I also put a dessert spoon of golden syrup in each.  They were gorgeous, I made five on bottom layer and three on top layer. They steamed well, but a few over overflowed ! maybe i will have to use 9 moulds next time.

  • These were very easy to make

    Submitted by cookingwizard on 25. September 2015 - 11:05.

These were very easy to make and tasted lovely as well.  The only thing I didn't like was it tasted a bit too eggy.  I will try and make them next time with 2 eggs instead (which from the comment below should work out ok as well).

Oh my, these are delicious. Definitely the way I will be making my steamed puddings from now on.
I made some without pecans for those in my family that didn't want them, but for me the pecans are the
crowning glory! I only used 2 eggs and they still came out fine - lovely and light.
