Healthy Gluten Free Almond & Vanilla Scones (adapted from The Healthy Chef's Almond and Vanilla Scones)

Almond and Vanilla Scones

  • 300 grams raw almonds
  • 2 teaspoons G/F Baking Powder
  • 50 grams macadamia oil
  • 10 grams Organic Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 organic free range eggs

Recipe's preparation

    Almond and Vanilla Scones
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 150C

    2. Chop almonds for 20s sp9

    3. Add baking powder and mix 4-5s sp6

    4. Add the oil, honey or maple syrup, vanilla and eggs and combine for 15s on sp5 or until a sticky dough is formed

    5. Line an oven tray with baking paper and sprinkle with some flour

    6. Roll dough into balls and slightly flatten on tray

    7. If needed, blitz mixture 1-2s sp8 to get out the last of the mixture

    8. Bake in a preheated oven for 20m or until golden brown

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge

    These scones can be served warm or cool alone or with your favourite topping.

A handful of dried fruit can also be added
