  • Thank you. This recipe brings

    Submitted by Lissnath on 21. October 2014 - 20:19.

Thank you. This recipe brings back great childhood memories. I am now vegan so I can't make a traditional impossible pie. I also don't like things too sweet. I modified your recipe by replacing: the sugar with 50g stevia; the milk with soy milk; the eggs with no egg (egg replacer); and the butter with 60g nuttelex (vegan margarine). It worked pretty well considering I didn't use real eggs.

    Thank you for the inspiration

    Thanks for your feedback Panoukla.

I haven't noticed this base issue, yes it is moist though, bit like a firmish moist pastry.

  • I made this tonight, very

    Submitted by Panoukla on 2. June 2013 - 20:16.

I made this tonight, very easy to whip up. Delicious crunchy coconut top, smooth egg custard middle, but the 'pastry' base seemed to be uncooked and doughy. A shame because it is potentially a great dish. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?
