- 220 flour
- 150 g Coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 40 g cocoa
- 175 g Butter Cubed
- 95 g sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Esse
- 2 eggs
- 95 g hot water
- 175 g chocolate chips, dark
- 95 g water
- 80 g Coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cocoa Heaped
- 150 g dark chocolate

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Pre heat oven to 170 degrees
Line a loaf tin with tinfoil and grease
put flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa, butter, sour cream, vanilla Essence and eggs in to bowl mix speed 5 for 10 secs
add hot water and chocolate chips to batter mix speed 4 for 8 secs
Pour batter into prepared loaf tin bake for 50 - 60mins
Clean mixing bowl
while the loaf is baking the last 10 minutes place the Chocolate syrup ingredients into the bowl cook for 10 minutes speed 2 100 degrees MC off
Shard the chocolate while syrup is cooking with a big knife
pierce the cake with a skewer pour syrup over the loaf and coat with chocolate shards.
Serve with berries and Vanilla Ice Cream
