Julie's Chocolate Self-Saucing Pudding

  • 125 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 1 level tbsp cocoa powder, 70% cocoa
  • 187 grams white sugar
  • 2 level tbsp Butter
  • 187 gram Milk

Chocolate Sauce:

  • 65 grams brown sugar
  • 1 level tbsp cocoa powder, 70% cocoa
  • 185 grams Boiling water

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Heat Oven at 180c
    1. Place butter in mixing bowl at 30 sec/70c/Speed 1.5.

    2. Add flour, cocoa and sugar 10 sec/speed 5.

    3. Add milk 10 sec/Speed
    4. Place mixture into a greased ovenproof dish and set aside.

    5. Don't wash bowl out!
    6.Add cocoa and brown sugar 5-10 sec/Speed 4
    7. Sprinkle over mixture and carefully pour boiling water over mixture.
    8. Bake for 45 mins in oven.
