Recipe's preparation

    Kid Friendly Coconut Chocolate
  1. Place almonds & cashews in a dry TM bowl and mix for 20 seconds on speed 9 or until very fine.

Add all other ingredients (coconut oil works best in this recipe when solid, not liquid). Mix on speed 5 for 15-20 seconds until well combined.

Spoon into silicone chocolate moulds and place in fridge or freezer to set. Best eaten chilled, as will start to melt if left out too long.

Tip

Try not to over mix ingredients, recipe works best when ingredients are just combined.

For a bit of variation, add a drop of peppermint oil, or dried cherries.

The trick is to make sure the coconut oil is solid when placing in the mixture.  Also, processing for too long will start to warm the mixture and melt the coconut oil and make the mixture white. Best to have all ingredients 'just' combined, rather than over combined. I've made this recipe many times! tmrc_emoticons.) Lynda

It seems to me that there is way too much coconut oil. My thing was flaoting in white. Definitely going to reduce it next time and it will be a winner!
