  • 200 grams unsweetened desiccated coconut, reserve 50 grams for coating
  • 120 grams ground almonds
  • 40 grams Organic coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoons Maple syrup

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Lemon Truffle Balls
  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Mill the zest of 2 lemons for 10 seconds on speed 10 and scrape down the sides

  3. Add 150 grams of desicated coconut, 120 grams of ground almonds, 40 grams of coconut oil, 4 tablespoons of maple syrup, juice of 1 lemon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt

  4. Mix for 5 seconds on spead 5

  5. Roll the dough into bite size balls and coat with desicated coconut

  6. Enjoy!

    These are delicous and super easy. I forogt to grind the almonds so just whizzed it all up on about speed 8 for around 5 secs. worked perfect.

    I found the coconut oil a little overpowering (although I only had extra virgin).  Would use less next time and maybe a little extra maple. Big hit with the kids though.
