  • 300 gram Self Raising Flour
  • 160 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 --- batch of lime or lemon curd, make first from EDC
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar, sieve on top before serving

Recipe's preparation

    Cake
  1. Place self raising flour, sugar, and butter into TM bowl and mix for 5 seconds speed 6.  Add eggs, lock lid and tubo 3-5 times until resembles bread crumbs.  Press two thirds of mixture into prepared 23-25 cake tin lined with baking paper.  Spread the lime or lemon curd over this and crumble the remaining mixture over the top.  Bake 35-40 minutes in a 180 C oven.  Dust with icing sugar before serving.

shape into individual muffin pans and proceed as above.

    Love this cake, it is just like the German apple cake my Mum use to make. I have made it just like the recipe with lemon curd and also with stewed apple and pear. Thanks for a great recipe!

    This is virtually a clone of the recipe Ednas Lemon curd tea cake.
    I would use 120 grams of butter.
    I agree it would taste beautiful.
