800 g

Sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 125 grams xylitol

Icecream

  • 1 portion sweetened condensed milk, (from above)
  • 600 grams whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place milk into jug and cook 100 ̊c speed 3 for 60 minutes mc off.
    2. Add xylitol and cook for a further 40 minutes 100 ̊c speed 3 mc off. Check consistency and continue to cook in 10 minute intervals until your left with approximately 400 mls. Once finished transfer to a container and place into the fridge to cool.
    3. Clean and dry mixing bowl.
    4. Once the milk has cooled, insert butterfly and add cream. Mix speed 4 until nicely whipped.
    5. Add cooled milk and vanilla and blend speed 4 until combined.
    6. Place in a freezer container and freeze overnight.
