Filling
- 180 grams Butter, melted
- 230 grams rapadura or brown sugar
- 60 grams white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- 1 tablespoon plain four
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla ex
- few more pecans to decorate
- 140 grams pecans
1 Unbaked Pie Crust
Recipe's preparation
1 ) Pre-heat oven to 200C.
2) Add pecans (only the 140g ) Turbo/Blitz 4 times
3) Set aside, no need to rinse the bowl
4) add butter and eggs, blend 3sec/Speed4
5) scrape down sides and add sugars, flour, milk and vanilla,blend 4sec/speed5
6) add chopped pecans, blend 5sec/speed2. Pour filling into an unbaked pie crust and decorate with more pecans.
7) Cover crust with foil or pie sheilds, Bake 10 minutes. Lover temp to 180C (350F) and bake an additional 30 minutes.
As it cools on the counter the filling will set. Serve at room temp or chilled.
