If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180°C FF
- 140g pecans "Closed lid"
Turbo x4 - Set aside milled pecans
- Line a pie dish/tray
- Place 120g butter & 80g brown sugar "Closed lid"
Mix 5s speed 5 - Scrape down sides & repeat ("Closed lid" 5s speed 5)
- Add 200g flour & a pinch of salt "Closed lid"
20s speed 5 "Counter-clockwise operation" - Knead for 1m "Dough mode"
- Press the mixture into the prepared tray
- Bake for 15mins until golden
- Add 180g butter & 2 eggs "Closed lid"
5s speed 5 - Add 230g brown sugar, 60g white sugar, 1tbsp flour, 1 tbsp milk & 1tsp vanilla extract "Closed lid"
5s speed 5 - Add chopped pecans "Closed lid"
"Counter-clockwise operation" 10s speed 5 - Pour filling into crust
- Bake for 10mins at 180°C
- Bake for 40mins at 150°C
