    Submitted by Jen_Cousens on 24. May 2015 - 14:09.

YUMMY! I added some more ice to thicken it up a little & took it for dessert to a friends BBQ and everyone LOVED it. I wasn't sure how it would be by serving time as I transport in a sealed container and popped in their freezer for a couple of hours.... but it still came out perfect! :)

Best sorbet i have tasted!Very sweet so next time i would reduce the sugar and add some more ice. I also used coconut cream instead of milk and lime zest instead of the kaffir leaf.

I put in a third of the amount of sugar in it and found the sorbet to be sweet enough for us! We have substaintially reduced the amount of sugar in our diets after doing the I quit sugar program.

Used dates, 4 from memory, rather than the sugar and it worked well and tasted fine. If you are used to sugar in your diet you'd need more dates though.
