      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  • I made this and it didn't

I made this and it didn't set. I read that others have added extra white chocolate to get their to set but even without adding extra, the flavour of the white chocolate is overpowering in this recipe.

Loved this fudge although after taking the comments into consideration, I reduced the amount of condensed milk and it set well.

Absolutely Delicious. We made a batch based on two 'bags' of Redskins, and while the resulting fudge never really went firm, it, was, AMAZING. Not to be eaten in large batches, definitely to be shared!

I have made this a couple of times now and it is always very soft compared to other fudge recipes. I think it may either need more white chocolate or additional redskins. It is a fantastic recipe though and everyone who tries it loves it, it's just very soft.

I made this recipe using TM made condensed milk, but it didn't set. I needed to add 250g more whilte chocolate, and recook it. Any idea if there is a reason why it didn't set? I've never had an issue using TM condensed milk with any other fudge recipe?

Hi evest,  Redskins are sweets similar to the French Carambars, but raspberry in flavour.  Available in bags in the confectionary aisle of most supermarkets.
