Recipe's preparation

  1. Add milk and heat for 5 minutes 80 degrees speed 1.

Add sago and place in bowl/jug in fridge overnight.

Grease tin with butter and line base with a baking paper cut to size.

Add 2-3 slices torn bread and grate 10 seconds speed 6 and set aside

Add butter and heat 1 80 degrees speed 1 to soften, add sugar breadcrumbs, fruit and eggs and combine 4-5 seconds Counter-clockwise operation speed 3.

Add bicarb soda and pinch of salt to milk and sago and add to remaining ingredients.  Combine again 4-5 seconds Counter-clockwise operation speed 3 and place into prepared tin.

  2. Cover tin/dish in alfoil and place into varoma

Give bowl a quick rince and add 1 litre of water.

Set Varoma in position and steam for 45-60 minutes Varoma temp. speed 2

depending on side and depth of dish.  Check after 45 minutes.  Continue for another 15 minutes if not done. ( I cooked mine for 60 minutes and was perfect)
