Sweetcorn Ice Cream

  • 350 g frozen sweetcorn
  • 150 g thick cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill 80-100g raw sugar for 10 secs at sp 10

    Add 350g frozen sweetcorn and pinch of salt: blend for 15 secs, sp 7

    Add 150g cream, 1/2tsp vanilla extract: blend for 5 secs at sp 6

    Scrape down the sides.  Add 150g milk, blend for 5 secs at sp 6

    Serve immediately!


Accessories you need



Can substitute milk for coconut milk or sweetened condensed milk (reduce the sugar to taste)
