For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
You can wash the rice if you wish but I don’t.
Place all the ingredients into the Thermomix bowl "Closed lid" .
Cook 30 mins, 90 C, "Counter-clockwise operation" reverse, speed 1.5.

Tip
Serve with stewed fruits such as rhubarb, peaches, apple or pear for dessert, or sprinkle with brown sugar and serve for brunch.
I add some pure cream when serving – YUM!
