If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

You can also use frozen mango instead of frozen banana.  Buy mangoes in season over summer when they are cheap, peel, slice and freeze in a single layer for later use.

Coconut water sweetens this smoothie naturally.

If you are fructose free, you could use kiwi fruit instead of apple - you don't even need to peel it!

This is a seriously delicious take on a green smoothie! Try it!

I have been apprehensive about jumping onto the kale, green smoothie bandwagon but decided to finally give it a go. And wow, am I pleased to have found your recipe; it is absolutely delicious! I used coconut water and the sweetness level is perfect.  I also threw in a small amount of chia seeds.   tmrc_emoticons.D

Really delicious smoothie.  I reccomend using the coconut water and I often just vary the greens depending on what is in the fridge.  Good for kids and adults!
