For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- If using gelatin, place gelatin and water into glass, stir and leave to bloom. If using Collagen Powder, continue to the next step.
- Meanwhile, brew coffee and add to Thermomix bowl, along with MCT oil and butter
- Add in collagen powder/bloomed gelatin
- set Thermomix to 2 minutes/75 degrees/speed 2
- Use blend function and set timer for 30 seconds, turning to full speed (speed 8 )
Note: TM5 users set Thermomix to 30 seconds/speed 8 - Serve and enjoy!
