Piña Colada Smoothie

Ingredients

2 portion(s)

  • 400 grams cup fresh pineapple chunks, (1/4 of a fresh pineapple)
  • 400 grams cup unsweetened coconut milk, (1 can)
  • 1 banana
  • 100 grams ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Honey, optional
  • pineapple wedges, for garnish
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon yoghurt, optional

Recipe's preparation

  1. In TMX bowl, combine all ingredients - 20 seconds at speed 8. Puree until smooth, gradually increasing speed to 10 for another 10 seconds. Pour into 2 large glasses. Garnish each serving with a pineapple wedge.


    If dairy-free smoothie needed, just leave out the yoghurt.

Tip

Inspired by the recipe on //www.pauladeen.com - if you want a cocktail more than a smoothie, add a dash of rum and leave out the yoghurt.  The yoghurt is non-traditional - my daughter wanted some kick in the non-alcoholic smoothie, so that's what it's doing there.
