Recipe's preparation

  1. Add the white rum, pineapple juice, pineapple chunks and coconut milk to the mixing bowl and beat: 30 sec./speed 6. 6.
  2. Add the ice cubes and blend: 35 sec/speed 1. 1.
  3. Pour into 4 Long Hurricane glasses and serve immediately. Garnish each glass with fresh pineapple chunks, candied cherries and straws.

Recommended glass: Long Hurricane.

The Piña Colada is a signature drink from Puerto Rico, where this cocktail is said to have been invented by Don Ramón Portas Mingot in 1963. In Old San Juan, a marble plaque commemorates this event.
