      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place ice cubes, pineapple pieces and sugar into mixing bowl, then blend 2 min/speed 5-10, increasing speed gradually from speed 5 to speed 10.Closed lid
  2. Add coconut milk and Malibu", then mix 5 sec/speed 3.
  3. Spread some desiccated coconut onto a plate. Lightly dampen the rims of 6 hurricane glasses with water, then dip rims into coconut. Divide piña colada between glasses and garnish with a pineapple wedge to serve

Tip

I've modified the Coolidoo recipe to suit my taste. I found the Cookidoo version lacking in the Malibu, too sweet and far too much coconut milk. (This could all be due to different brands used)
I used Malibu (with coconut flavour) and Kara coconut milk which can be quite rich.
