Tumeric Tea

Tumeric Tea

  • 2 tsp tumeric (fresh)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (fresh)
  • 1/4 cinnamon quill
  • pinch black peppercorns (freshly ground)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 80 g coconut milk/cream
  • 200 g water
  • 1 tsp Raw Honey

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place tumeric, ginger and cinnamon into bowl. Grate on speed 7 for 5 seconds. Scrape down sides of bowl.

    Add all other ingredients except honey and combine for 15 minutes, 90 degrees on speed 0.5

    Add honey and stir speed 3-4 for 5 seconds.

    Poor into a cup and enjoy the warm, fragrant anti-inflammaroty properties of this delicious tea.

Tip

I like to place a piece of glad wrap over the bowl before putting the lid on when I grate the tumeric so it doesn't stain the seal. Remove it before adding the other ingredients and warming the tea though.

    Great recipe, love the taste, coconut milk really improves the taste.
